2024 Updates <\/strong><\/h3>\nHappy Spring!
\n<\/strong>\n

2024 got off to a bumpy start personally, but I’m looking forward to warmer weather, lots of sunshine and the\u00a0Spring Open Studio<\/a>\u00a0event! The resident artists as a whole are planning some additional events for 2024 and beyond so I’m really looking forward to having more build-wide events this year as well as some smaller pop-up events scattered in the mix, too!<\/p>\n

It’s the best way to be in the loop for sales and events, although I do try to keep my socials updated as well.\u00a0????<\/p>\n

2024 events have been posted on the events page<\/a>! Regular Open Studio hours will be resuming in February<\/a> I hope to see some of you at the Valentine Open Studio event on February 10th! I’m busy working on Valentine, Anti-Valentine, and St. Patricks’ Day goodies that will all be available at the event. Be sure to follow TACtile Studio on social media for sneak peeks! 2023 Updates <\/strong><\/h3>\n

It’s Spooky Season!<\/strong><\/p>\n

September 1st is the official start of Spooky Season in my world. Halloween is by far my FAVORITE holiday and I can’t wait to get the studio decorated to celebrate! Since I had to cancel my One-Year Anniversary Celebration event due to the weather I’m now having a Halloween Open Studio Pop-Up<\/strong> event with my studio neighbor, Vicktory Vintage!<\/p>\n

I hope you’ll join us in my studio on Friday, September 29th from 5pm to 9pm<\/strong>. We will have snacks and drinks and a few of our artsy friends will also be in the building<\/strong> showing off their new wares for the fall season:<\/p>\n

Summer 2023<\/strong> – Studio hours will be changing July 1, 2023 through September 30, 2023<\/strong>. The updated summer studio hours will be Fridays and Saturday 4:30pm – 8:30pm<\/strong>. The studio will be open for scheduled classes only on Tuesday\/Wednesday\/Thursday and will be closed on Mondays and Sundays. Stay tuned for details on our One-Year Anniversary Celebration which will be held at the end of August!<\/p>\n

The next round of in-studio painting class dates will be available soon! I’m preparing for the Spring Open Studio event, but will resume classes after the event. Be sure you’re signed up for the newsletter<\/a> so you don’t miss the announcement as space is limited! In each class you will be able to create two unique pieces of art in two separate styles of fluid painting. I hope you’ll join me; it is SO fun!<\/p>\n

Happy New Year!<\/strong> I hope 2023 is fabulous for every one of you!<\/p>\n

I’ve been busy cleaning, organizing and re-stocking the studio and prepping for the year ahead. My big dream in life, since I was a little girl, was to have a retail boutique that was filled with all of the things that I love. My passions in life have always revolved around pretty, colorful, and sparkly things with a special place in my heart holding the love of all things paper – scrapbooking paper and embellishments, personal stationery like memo pads and pretty cards with a blank inside for handwritten notes , notebooks, gift wrap, stickers and labels.<\/p>\n

I also absolutely love interior design, photography and decorating the walls of a space with pretty artwork and fun and funky framed prints to pull it all together. I love sarcasm and snarkiness. I love to laugh. I love beautiful scenery, old buildings, and photographs that can tell a story. Since the grand opening of my studio boutique in August 2022 I’ve been busy bringing all of these things together in my space to share with all of you. I’ve got plans to launch some new things this year – memo letter sets, bound notebooks and notepads – and adding to the existing selection of items currently available – new sticker sets, more paper party decor and holiday decor, paper crafting elements for scrapbooking\/journal making\/card making, new paintings and art prints to decorate your home and a handful of new Sassy Snap collections as well as new snap button jewelry pieces and accessories.<\/p>\n

My studio embodies all of the things that I love and I’m so grateful I can share these things with all of you. I appreciate you all so much – thank you for laughing along with me at my sarcastic and snarky art prints and thank you all so much for enjoying the things I create as much as I have enjoyed creating them.<\/p>\n

Happy October!<\/strong> We’ve spent the last few months designing new pattern collections and now they are officially available for purchase as printed craft papers<\/a>! They are 12″ x 12″ sheets, printed on both sides – so you receive two prints of each pattern in the collection. They can be used for ANY craft – scrapbooking, card making, decoupage and anything you can dream up to cut on a personal cutting machine like a Cricut or Silhouette. The possibilities are ENDLESS! We’re also in the process of launching a line of printed craft elements as well as party and holiday decor. Stay tuned for the details!<\/p>\n

In July 2021<\/strong> we’re celebrating the launch of Sassy Snaps by TACtile Studio<\/a>. Sassy Snaps are 20mm Snap Buttons that fit all 20mm snap button jewelry and accessories and they are handmade from my original digital paper patterns. I’ve teamed up with my long-time colleague turned very good friend, Tiffany Green, who owns Tiffany Green Photography & Designs<\/a>. She came to me with the idea and I LOVED it! When I saw the first snap buttons made with my patterns I fell in love even more! Tiffany and I had a 4-hour (no exaggeration) phone conversation and the rest is history in the making!<\/p>\n

Re-Launch 2020<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In July 2018 I took a much needed break from this business after a few tumultuous years. Almost 2 years later, in the summer of 2020, I jumped back in feet first! I am working on new projects and using new mediums and really just being creative. I won’t be focusing on digital design templates and items as I was – I’m working on tangible goods. Things that you can decorate your home with and items to help create and archive memories.<\/p>\n

As I’ve gotten older I have realized that memories – both making new ones and remembering the old ones – along with having a cozy peaceful space full of things that bring comfort or make you laugh or smile are two things that really matter. Everyone deserves a peaceful retreat from this world that can at times be so wicked. I have become mindful in the items I hang on my walls and decorate my family’s space with. I have always been a lover of photography as it is the one medium that lets you instantly capture a single moment in time and freeze it for eternity. Having lost people I love, and having children that are growing way too fast, I have realized just how precious those memories are.<\/p>\n
